The World Childhood Foundation, often referred to as simply Childhood, was founded

by Queen Silvia of Sweden in 1999 in an effort to reach and support children at risk

around the world. The foundation's focus is on protecting children from sexual abuse

as well as supporting those who have already fallen victim, with a

concentration on girls and young mothers.

La Fondation de l'enfance du monde, souvent appelé simplement l'enfance,

a été fondée par la reine Silvia de Suède en 1999, dans un effort pour atteindre  

et soutenir les enfants à risque dans le monde entier. La priorité de la fondation

est de protéger les enfants contre les abus sexuels ainsi que de soutenir ceux

qui ont déjà été victimes, avec une concentration sur les filles et les jeunes mères.
